Void Fill boundaries in a tank

Hello there,

I Hope all of you are quite well

I have an issue regarding the volumes in a tank...

Basically I want to half full a tank with water and the other half with air. How can I do that?

The only choice given by void fill is to cover the whole tank with either water or air.

King regards,

George

Model half and half in CAD and then use the Free Surface modeller shown here. No need to use the void fill -  are you aware that a sealed but hollow volume brought through from CAD will be auto filled in CFD?

I am aware that a sealed but hollow volume brought through from CAD will be auto filled in CFD.

My tank is a distillation unit with one input and two outputs (pump and outcome valve).

I tried the free surface modeller.

Thank you very much.

All sounds totally possible in Simulation CFD - perhaps share a CFZ file if you run into further issues.

Thanks,

Jon
