The solar heating value at different area in CFdesign

I want to do comparison with the simulation and experimental results.

But how can I know the value of solar radiation at different area in CFdesign to ensure the simulation and experimental conditions is consistent. Thanks very much.

Hi Amy,

Are you looking to see what the solar heat flux is for your analysis? There is a setting we can adjust for the max solar heat flux, but you can just look at the global heat flux result quantitiy to see what head flux is being applied based on time and location.

Hi Royce,

Thanks for your reply.

I really want to see what the solar heat flux is for the analysis.

How can I set to adjust for the max solar heat flux?

Thanks.

Hi Amy,

Refer to this flag to adjust the max solar heat flux.
