Solving using Angular Motion

Hello, I am new to CFD and am having trouble with a water valve scenario. I am able to get good results when i solve for one position in a water valve. I would like to be able to run a scenario that has the valve moving 5 degrees every 10 seconds. I set this up usinig the table in angular motion from 0-75 degrees. When I solve I only see results for the 0deg. I'm not sure where i went wrong...any thoughts? Thanks for the help.

Hi,

Are you saving out intermediate results? You would need to do this to capture steps in-between 0 and your final timestep. We recommend not saving too many though, perhaps 20-30 throughout the analysis.

Thanks for the help Jon. I was not saving to intermintent. Changed the setting and now it works. THe only problem is my pressures are extremely high. 5.0 E+08 and above. I have the units set to psi with an inlet pressure of 0psi and a flow rate of 20 lb/min. Did i miss another setting? Thanks again for the help.

Could you share your support share file?  A dropbox or Autodesk360 link (or similar) is probably the best method.

Thanks,

Royce
