Solver exits unexpectedly for transient model

I have not been able to resolve this error. I have used the same CAD geometry in a steady state model which meshed and solved without a problem. I have checked my units and boundary conditions but I am stumped on how to get this model to solve.

The mesher exits with code = 0.

The solver exits with code = -3

Unable to inject glr
Unable to inject gls
Unable to inject glv

Thanks,

Brandon

Hi Brandon,

Can I suggest a couple of things:

  1. Ensure you are running 2015 SP2
  2. Ensure the file is run from a local drive
  3. If those fail, could you share a CFZ file with us?

Kind regards,

Jon

Hi Jon,

Thank you for your response. Items 1 and 2 are already being used for this model. I can share the CFZ file, but would like to email it rather than attach it to the forum. Do you have an email address I can use? I created a completely different model using the same geometry, created a steady state model, ran it succesffuly, and then was able to change it to a transient model which was also successful. I am not sure why the first model failed, but seems like a mesh file was not updating as I was changing parameters to diagnose the problem.

Thanks,

Brandon
