As a abeginner to the software i stareted by attempting the trial designs and simulations first, but it would appear that even when i follow the instructions and run the simulation a problem still arises. The simulation job manager states that the simulation has completed the program window still indicates that the job is still queued, the program will then go onto freeze and cease to work. Please could i recewive a reply soon, or be directed to a thread that can help with,
Hi Max,
It might be worth logging a case through the subscription centre as you have an active account with us, we could then connect to your PC to investigate.
What version of CFD are you running?
Have you tried just using a very simple model, like our car tutorial for example?
Thanks,
Jon
CFD 360 2014 and i am working with the faucet model as that model works best in relation with the kind of product our company produces.
It may well be worth starting with getting everything up to date. Installing CFD 2015 and using the Autodesk Application Manager to ensure that the Simulation Job Manager is also up to date.
This is not helpful, this simply feels like a push to get me to download more programs and software, surely before developing new sopftware the Autodesk company would review their previous products and target the defects that may arise. Could you perhaps explain to me why the system is freezing and remaining in a queued state?
Hi Max,
I think what might be best is if we move this to a case. Then I can give you a call and we can hopefully screenshare to help troubleshoot. I will log a case for you now and be in touch shortly.
Thanks,
Jon
