Hi,
I am trying to install Simulation CFD 2014 with launch capability from Creo 2.0 however I can find no information to create this button/ability.
In previous versions I have been able to import models directly from the modelling program however I can't seem to be able to do this in this case.
Can anyone help?
Launching from Creo is done with our CAD COnnection
If you do not have the cad connection you might not have the launcher configured. Rerun the SimCFDConfig.exe out of the CFD install directory
(Note Creo must be same edition as CFD, both should be 32bit or both should be 64bit)
Outside of that, if you have a custom installation, the configuration may not find it and you will have to manually install the launcher per the instructions in the Help
WIth CFD 2014 you can File-New and create a New Design Study based off of Pro/e parts and assemblies. You would not "Open" parts as opening is for opening existing studies
You might also consider this... Many people can't find where the menu's are when they upgrade to Creo.
