Hi Support team
I want to simulate contact with a brake shoe brake pads behavior.
When the brake pads contact surface temperature of the simulation.
But my analysis of the results generated in the brake shoe on the temperature, can not be passed on to the brake pads.

Please provide similar cases, to correspond to how to set up.
Please help answer
thank you
Hello,
which software do you use?
I just wanted to verify this since it sounds a bit like a structural analysis and sometimes topics from this area pop up here.
Can you provide us more information about the setup: Materials, Boundary conditions.
Are you trying to perform a "2-step analysis"? Can you also provide detailed information about the steps you go through?
Thanks

Hello,
thanks for the submitted information. First of all I'd rather use a fixed (or time-variing) temperature boundary condition than a heat flux condition for this simulation.
Additionally there are a few factors which quantitativly improve the solution:
To safe calculation time you can model this brake simulation symmetrically (cut away half of the model).
And lastly some comments regarding the fluid flow setup (only mind them if you are interested in the natural convection effects):
Let us know if this helps for your simulation.
Hi Support team
Thanks for your reply.
I tried to analysis, the results show that the temperature distribution is wrong.

thank you
I have to correct my former post since I've missed the fact that we cannot calculate the heat conduction between multiple solids in a motion analysis. Only the heat transfer solid/fluid is taken into account.
What is the goal of this simulation? There may be other approaches to reach it.
