how to open dwg in simulation cfd?

hello! this is my first job in the programI installed Windows 8  and now I can not install Autodesk Inventor 2014

How else  open AutoCAD file in simulation cfd?Help me please!!!))

Hi

 

I am not sure what issue you are encountering with Inventor 2014, but it is supported on Windows 8 64 bit OS. I would first confirm that you have a 64 bit version of Windows 8. Beyond that, the Inventor forum is probably the best place to get guidance on how to resolve the issue.

 

As for CFD, the workflow most users follow from AutoCAD is exporting a copy of the file as an SAT model. This can be read into Simulation CFD without Inventor or other CAD applications. Keep in mind the geometry needs to be modeled as a 3D solid in AutoCAD.
