Geometry error because too big project, need some advise.

I create 3D model from Autodesk Revit.

It's very long tunnel. (20km).

then I send it to CFD by extension.

but geometry error. I cannot create air volumn. Tunnel is also broken.

any advise me, please.

This may not be relazted to physical size.

Ensure that your Geometry is clean coming from Revit. (Take a note of the Help section about AEC models from Revit and model integrity).

At that scale, interferences could pose problems especially if they are small (less than 0.5m in length)

I'd be more interested in why you are modeling the entire length of 20km for the tunnel and what answers you are trying to solve. I'd be tempted to use friction factor resistance regions for something with an aspect ratio like this and only model the detail where I need it. Without knowing what problem you are trying to solve it's hard to say, but if you could describe what it is you are trying to solve people on the community here would be better suited to give advice on the overall solution strategy.

Hope that helps,

There are 2 object in my model.
1 tunnel
2 ventilation system (I put many fan along the tunnel with 20 m gap)

So, what s heppen.
Tunnel shape error and Open surface happen.
All fan have been moved. Wrong position.

Then I try to create tunnel model from autodesk Inventor. It's work!!
Maybe there is some error while conversion.

Now I still found fan position problem. As your reply. There are small gap less than 0.5m. It's a problem, isn't it?

I might be new user for cfd.
I try to solve ventilation in tunnel.
For this case I must how flow if smoke was happen in the middle tunnel.
