Fluid Shock Obsorbers

Hi Guys,

I was just wondering whether we can simulate the Fluid Shock Obsorbers using Autodesk CFD.

I know the fluid properties and the piston displacement as shown in Figure.

I have to calculate the forces exerted on the assembly.

Hi Jon,

I forgot to mention the orifice shown in figure are one way check valves and also we need the information of temperature rise or fall due to compression and expansion of the fluid which the Autodesk CFD cannot do (I think with my experience).

what are your thoughts on it?
