Fluid Flow Analysis-Field Variable fluctuations are minimal

Hi,

In SimCFD 2013, I am trying to solve a flow model with pressures at inlet and outlet as boundary conditions. The simulation convergers for a 0.4 (mesh factor) mesh, but when i make it any finer it runs approx 50 iterations and outputs "Field Variable fluctuations are minimal-AutoStop" . The results i have are "NAN"

The simulation is a steady state incompressible, turblent flow.

Can anyone please explain why this happens and a way around it?

Thank You

Maruthi

HI,

With a pressure driven analysis you should be running with Advectin Scheme 5, this may help. (Solve -> Solution Controls -> Advection).

If not, are you able to share your CFZ file here?

Kind regards,

Jon
