Hi,
This is a newbie question. I just installed Autodesk simulation CFD software. I still think that my setting are ok, I try to solve aerodynamics of a sport car. But when I push the solve button nothing really happens. The usage of the processor cores of my desktop just wont increase a bit and solving takes long of time without any end.
In general I would like to know how long time it takes to simulate the aerodynamics of a car? Is there a way to control how many cores there are in use when I let the computer to calculate the aerodynamics?
Any help a lot prechuated, thanks in advance.
Hi, at what point does the simulation not happening? You can find out what the software is doing from the status bar on the lower left portion of the screen. Sometimes meshing might take some time, and there wont be any change to the graphics window until the analysis is really solving.
