API Documentation is missing

<->

Hi everyone,

it seems as if the API documentation is only partly available in the \Help folder. In the Autodesk online help it says:

"The API language reference is included in a separate documentation library included with the installation. To access it, navigate to the Help\API-Documentation sub-folder of your Autodesk Simulation CFD installation, and double click on index.html."

However, there is no index.html in that folder. I really need it for creating python scripts, can someone tell me how to add it to the installation?

Thanks in advance!

You don't see this file in your 2013 installation?

C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Simulation CFD 2013\Help\API Documentation\HTML\index.html

It looks to me that you have a corrupt install. I would uninstall and try again. There should be 214 files in there.

When you installed did you right click and pick 'run as administrator'?

Sometimes that helps.

I reinstalled it with right-click "run as administrator" and still no change. Is it possible do address the Help folder on the Installation Disc directly?

is there an API documentation for CFD 2018 available? The most actual doc I found is for CFD 2016.

Royce,

Your link did not work.

Is there any API documentation later than 2016?

This link should work:

https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/cfd/downloads/caas/downloads/content/autodesk-cfd-2016-python...

As far as I know there is no newer doc.
