Set legend to plane

I would like to have the possibility to set the legend acording to the max and the min value on a section plane:

It would make it easy to see details wich otherwise remain hidden...

I really like this idea, it does capture an interesting problem that I hadn't thought about using this as the solution!  Good one.

It would be really nice if when we right-clicked on the Legend there was something like this:

It would also be extremely nice if when we set the legend to one of those entities while a simulation was in progress, it stayed linked to it automatically adjusted to its range as the simulation went on.
