Reduce the minimum mesh spacing

On large domains exporting data is only possible with a mesh that is too course to accurately represent the flow in the around detailed geometry. This can be solved by allowing for a finer mesh spacing in the area of interest or indeed in the entire domain.

Can you clarify the mesh and data export you are referring to?

The analysis mesh controls allow for variation in mesh sizes like you described, and there is no limit on the resolution aside from the amount of memory you have available on your machine.

Are you referring to the grid spacing available on 2D planes and the option to save the data as a table?

Thanks,

Jon

Jon,

The data export I’m referring to is the export of data on 2D planes by saving the data as a table. The available grid spacing on its smallest setting is still too course for us.

Best regards,
