Hide objects in design study bar

I see this question rise every training: how can I hide/unhide all my aluminum parts...

(apart from creating a group).

Hi Marco

Just curious if you get questions on this in the setup, results, or both?

In the setup, you're right - groups are the best bet for now.

In the CFD results, parts can be hidden by material type by highlighting, right click, and picking 'hide.'

I'm running version 2016 and I'm still frustrated by the ctrl middle button to hide and unhide bodies.  I would like to see hide unhide in the right mouse click context menu.  Both in the graphical window and in the Design Study Bar.  This is not a new concept, just make it work like every other program that has a graphics window and a node browser.

@marco.mueller this is now provided in the design study tree. You can hide all volumes associated with a given material in both setup and results.

@saainsworth I am happy to report this is also provided now in 2017. You can hide an entity directly from the right click context menu, or from the mini context toolbar that appears when you left click select.
