Transparent bitmap has lines on edges of model

I've had this issue in the past with previous models of my own, but I recently opened up a model of a fern I downloaded and noticed the same issue.

This image was taken after a render, but these lines are visible in the viewport as well.

I know these lines aren't visible in the bitmaps themselves, but at the same time it would be possible for me to quickslice the tips of the fern and delete the excess to remove the lines.

Let me know if additional information is needed to solve this issue. Otherwise, any ideas?

I can't say for sure without trying it out with your image but it looks like the lines are due to the blur value in the bitmap parameters (see the attached screenshot). Try setting the "Blur" to the minimum (0.01) and rendering again.

Tell me if that does the trick.

That's excellent. When rendered, it no longer displays those irritating lines.

In the viewport the lines are faint, and still exist. But This has no effect on the product when exported so I'm pleased.

Thank you.
