Hi, i am attempiting to rendering my model in Maya using a ptex file, but whenever i render it turns half of my texture into a bright purple color. here is a link to a screen shot of my render preview.

I edited the maya.rayrc file, created a subdivision approximation, and connected the mib_ptex_lookup to my shader and entered in the ptex file path and i still cant figure out why it is doing this, can anyonehelp?
