Ptex from Mudbox to Maya 2014... renders black

Hey. I see that this have already been solved on the maya 2013 version, but I have tried everything I have found on the ww web without any luck. The Rayrc file is edited, and I have tried out different kinds of ways to get the Ptex texture to work in maya, but it always turns out black. Which is a shame since I have a time limit x)

I'm using Mudbox and Maya 2014, but haven't been able to find any tutorials or person that have had the same problem with ptex on the 2014 version. Is it not possible to use ptex in Maya anymore after 2013?

will not display in the viewport but rendering seems to work fine!

have you assigned a mental ray subdivision approximation?

Yes, but I've solved my problem by converting my ptex texture to Uv's. Did
not have any more time to figure it out.

Thanks for the answer 🙂

Yeah I figured it out. I was using the wrong rendering mode and image type.
