Broken specular highlights using more than four lights in nitrous viewport

The problem occurs in 3Ds Max 2014 64bit nitrous viewport. Specular higlights become glitchy and distorted if there are more than four lights in the scene. Happens on all material types (Standart, arch&design) and with all light types.

 

Tried installing SP5 and updating video card drivers but the problem is still there.

Tried this on two different computers (Quadro2000, i7 4770 at work and GTX780ti, same processor at home) same result on both.

Tried using DX9 mode but the problem is still there.

Now i'm out of ideas...

 

Is this normal/like that for everyone? Is this some kind of a limitation or just a bug? Is this the same on previous versions of max?

Unfortunately the same thing happens in 2015 sp2 as well..
