When I put a background (with Physical Sun and Sky on) it comes out darker and grayer. Is there anything I can do to keep Physical Sun and Sky On and also have the background not messed up? The picture you see is what the picture looks like when it is gray and dark.
You should not use any background with the Physiacl sun...the sky is your background as is ...now there are ways around that like compositing a background afterwards or using special mental ray shading networks to either blend it with an HDr sky or rendering in Layers or using a rayswitch node.
