And do we already have a " not a guarantee" What´s new in Robot 2015??

Hi.
Can i use the wind simulator like an reglementary analyse?
I ask you that because i have a big difference between an classical analys (eurocode) and the simulator.
Kudos for the Wind Load developer team!!
Very nice update
when saving results to .csv file (e. g. reaccions) the program crash when the file is open it doesnt return "file is open" or " file is in use"

The wind load simulation is not code based. It is a 'digital' wind tunnel.

Thank you. I'll forward this part to them

Could you give us more detailed description and an example if possible? Thank you.
I'm sorry but we will not be able to discuss any plans for the next versions of Robot on this forum.
Hello!
I can't seem to find where to check the following new feature, which is very interesting for me:
Global mode elastic instability multipliers acr calculation for building type structures
Any ideas which menu or which steps I need to follow?
Thanksss
The wind load simulator looks great! Just for clarification.....is the intention for use purely as a tool for preliminary design only? Or is it intended for use to ultimatley generate design wind loads? Just curious.
I'd say both
Of course it is going to be your decision - for some types of structures the wind code can give you guidance (then e.g. preliminary or comparison analysis) but for arbitrary shapes or a structure being shielded by other buildings you may think about this kind of simulation as the good way to have some wind load estimation.

Direct Analysis Method - A new approach to stability design
The Direct Analysis Method for steel frame structures is a new AISC approach for the
stability design which requires:
The addition of notional forces to the load combinations,
The reduction of the member stiffness,
P-delta local effects for the P-DELTA analysis.
Robot uses the Direct Analysis Method in conjunction with detailed option settings to
generate a supplementary model in which all the previously stated modifications are
made automatically. In addition to the standard AISC approach, it is also possible to use
customized parameters for the DAM model.
It is possible to work simultaneously with the original model and the DAM model by
selecting either model at any time. When steel member design is executed from the
original model, it uses the results from the appropriate model automatically.
The primary benefit of this approach is the possibility to check the section capacity
during the design phase, without using effective lengths or amplified moments.
A DAM analysis can be performed on any 3D model for which ULS combinations have
been defined.

It will be fixed in Service Pack 3 for RSAPRO 2015 - it should be available in days.
Regards,
Hello,
in Automatic wind load generation (CFD) option , there is a wind profile to define manually, what do you mean by those factors ? what should be included in to evaluate this speed factor ?
Check Stefano's approach:
What about TS500 AND TSC2007 (TURKISH SEISMIC CODE)? ARE THEY GOING TOBE TAKEN IN TO CONSIDERATION FOR THE NEXT VERSION?
