Warning after Structure Verification

After running the verification the the following warnings are displayed:

1)Parameters of the material used in the object are different from parameters defined in preferences.

2)Incoherent mesh on edges.

How can this problem be solved?

Click on the line with the warning which should result in the selection of these objects. Check the parameters (e.g. Young modulus, density etc.) of materials assigned to them in either bars or panels tables. If they are correct just ignore the warning. The reason for such warning to be displayed is the fact that you may have two different materials with the same names but different properties. The sample situation is that you have the default STEEL material defined in your Robot Job Preferences and you receive an rtd file from somebody else who used his/her STEEL material with some different parameters than the default Robot material has got. If you open the file on your computer you want to run it with the material as defined in the file rather than with the material as defined in your Job Preferences. If such situation exists the warning you described is displayed but sometimes it may happen that the properties of both materials are the same yet the warning is still displayed. In such case check them and decide what to do next (ignore the warning or change the material).

2)Incoherent mesh on edges.

In most cases it is due to some inaccuracy in entering the geometry of the model. Again if you click on the warning you can see where you have these problems. You may start with the detail correct option and run it for the entire structure adjusting it to e.g structural axis. You may also set iterative adjustment of meshes to allow Robot to re-mesh panels with problems and run model generation again (sometimes switching off use of the regular mesh helps especially for the models with 'not accurate' geometry as well). You may also select the panels with problems and run local meshing for them (possibly using smaller element size as the meshing parameter). Mind that the last option automatically freezes such generated meshes so that they are not 'changed' during the model generation.

Hope this helps.
