Verification of slab reinforcement provided

Hi,

We'd like to ask if the we could keep the reinforcement we've manually input in the provided reinforcement design module in Robot for verification later.

It seems that when we do the RC element update, the reinforcement zones, spacings and diameters are reset. What we would have wanted is to verify the reinforcement we already provided in case forces from the model have changed after some geometry changes, loads etc.

This is what we would have been expected but maybe we're just confused as to how to go along with the procedure. If you could give us a step procedure, that would be of great help.

Thanks,

Rico

As shown in the snapshot below, I have already set-up the reinforcement. After the re-analysis of the model, I just wanted to check these reinforcements vs the results of the new analysis run. If anyone could give me a step procedure on how to do this without re-doing the manual assignment of reinforcement zone, diameters, spacing, etc. it would be of great help to us. Please see attached snapshot.

P.S. Robot slab provided reinforcement module is quite slow for our big model so we're finding difficulty to test stuff. That is why we need your assistance.

In the current version of Robot the zones are deleted after the update of a slab. On the other hand if you generated reinforcement distribution (have rebars or wire fabrics generated) you can freeze them and run verification for updated loads (no zones are needed for this).

Is RC element update the only way to update the results used for verifying the provided reinforcement?

How is the crack maps, deflection maps to be viewed then?

Please see attached snapshot, is this the verification page you are referring to? Also, isn't it that the check mark should be updated to either green if it's ok or, yellow if not?

Correct

Yes, but for the procedure I described you should have just the list of errors (if there are any). The red question mark should disappear after you run the update of the slab.
