Uplift Symbol Notation

HI, A little clarification Please,

I have a nodal support defined with an x direction uplift setting to produce a unilinear support.

My main issue is that despite the nature (positive or negative) of the uplift direction, the symbol appears to have the same orientation. (Please see attached images)

The results appear to be correct; however, with the support symbol normally being modified for the support direction, it is a little confusing.

Are you able to advise whether this is simply a graphical interface error?

Kind Regards,

Andrew

I am sorry. I am a little confused.

Yes the symbol is the same. And if you look in the two support definitions you will see that the degrees of freedom as specified as in opposite directions?

Regards,

Andrew

Once again - symbol = shape is the same in both cases, you have to look at codes f+... f-...to

acknowledge which direction is free
