I have a project in school where i have to analyze a 2 story building with a slab deck on the roof. Columns are a-symetrical and part of the slab on the 2nd floor is a cantilever slab on one edge [the edge with a radius 😞 ]. The slabs will be Flat Slabs, no perimeter beams, and the thickness has been labeld 12" by the architect. I have used Robot briefly in the past for steel frame analysis, but before I dig into it I would like to make sure Robot is my best bet for something like this. Would you all recommend it? I have been told of other softwares, but i am comfortable using autodesk interface so I would really like to make sure I would be heading in the right direction in approaching Robot for the analysis.
Thanks,
Ved
