Trouble Performing Code Checks on Compound Members

Hello,

Is there any way to perform code checks on compund members (i.e. 2 channels or 2 angles or 4 angles, etc.).  I am analyzing an older structure and it is full of double channels with lacing and built up sections made of angles with lacing or plates, and I would like to perform the code checks on these members to ensure that they pass code.  I am using ASD if that makes a difference.

Also is there a good way to input a section made up of 2 channels with backing plates (i.e. the "web" of the built up section has extra thickness)?

Thanks in advance

Robot can run code checking for compound sections (with battens or diagonals) for selected codes only (EC3 and PN). On the other hand if you can assume that this compound section can be verifies as if having the same cross section along its entire length then you can create it using the Section Builder module of the program and then use it in the model.
