Lack of supports on drawings is caused by supporting beams by panels \ walls.

Workaround here (applying elastic support with very low kz but correct size = panel thickness) : http://screencast.com/t/VykkkP4rc5

Ok Rafal

Thank you.

ive noticed that workflow between RSA and  beams reinforcement module (may be with other reinforcement module too) is not  very smooth as it should be .... (should rename beams after export , Pb with reinforcement shapes ... )

i hope that efforts will be done in this direction.

Thank you

Hi Faisal, I agree with you.

I believe that future is BIM, and it starts with architectural project, then we will module in Revit Structure, then send to Robot and to ASD to final drawings and detailings.

Nowadays, it has been easier to import a 2D drawings to Robot and do everying there ... but it doesn't make sense, it goes against to our "desired productivity".

Rafal and Artur, it would be great if the transition, transformation, from a 3D project (Revit) would be smoother than today. It would be a competitive advantage for Autodesk and for us ...

Same Problem of lack of support when having beams connected between them.( beams support of another one)

if doing the same trick as with a panel ( see above ) , the support added is concidered for both of two beams.

is there anyway to avoid this problem too.

thx

So if you  have revit files not properly transfered to robot please send them us.

Real users' model are welcome to be checked.

What is your situation in model?

IN my simple test example it works: http://screencast.com/t/LybyCykAlyp

the calculation of beams in this situation are ok ( supports are took ito account ) but the problem is rised when generating drawing ( same pb when support are panels mentionned above). - See attachement please.

thx

but the problem is rised when generating drawing

This issue is known, planned to be corrected.
