Structural Analysis via Clouds

Project Storm for Autodesk Revit Structure is a technology preview available on Autodesk Labs that provides cloud-based structural analysis to structural engineers as a part of the BIM process. With Project Storm, engineers and designers can extend design models from Revit Structure to the cloud for structural analysis and then visualize and explore the results from directly within Revit Structure.

Dear Pawel, users from Russia & CIS can not download this module. Sad but true.

What are the solver specifications for this functionality?

And, more specifically, do the events like this and incorporation of "analysis" functions into Revit (inherently a non-analysis software) bode a looming phase-out for RSA?

Yes, Indeed. The distribution is limited to some countries as for now, but hopefully we will see it expanding. This is often the case for Technology Preview apps.

Both Robot Structural Analysis Professional and Storm share solvers. It will help keeping consistency of results when switching between mainstream and more advanced analysis.
