Hi,
The structure we're designing will have temporary supports that will define the load effects in the slab for DL. Then a number of permanent wall will be installed and these will define the load effects from SDL and LL in the slab.
Is it possible to set up a staged analysis in Robot? I'd like to do the following:
Stage 1: supports as during construction, apply DL, analyse.
Stage 2: supports as during service, apply SDL + LL, analyse.
Define a load combination where the results from stage 1 and stage 2 are superimposed.
Thanks,
Jesper

It can be done defining phases in Robot:
This way several models with some elements existing or no, different support conditions and loads, etc. can be defined in one RTD file.
Then, when using Phase Collection, results from those various phases are superposed on some phase selected as the "base" one (usually the most complete one, i.e. containg all elements, panels, etc.).
The sequence of applying loads is not considered in this feature and the effects resulting from it like residual stresses are not taken into account.
When collecting phases the analogous elements from various phases have to be identified. It requires usually freezing meshes and generating model (to define calculation elements along bars) prior to definition of phases to have them identical in all phases.
Attached simple example of phase structure.
