Hello,
I am trying to open a Staad Pro V8 (Select Series 4) file into Robot 2014 and although I get a "conversion successful" message, the .str file only has strings of numbers and letter and cannot be opened in Robot.
//Marios
Staad file containes "TABLE ST" & "UPTABLE" commands for the section profiles. Are these not compatible?
--Marios
After looking around, it appears this has not been updated yet.
I'm assuming Robot still cannot open a .std file properly? Even one from 2007?
I do see the word TABLE in the .std file.
As a work-around, what is the best way to bring in a STAAD file?
We have STAAD, so should I export it from STAAD to a certain format?
I know Structural Intergrators has some good software for this, but I'd think I should be able to do it with Robot.
Thanks,
Lyle
