Slab deflexion

Hi,

I have a slab supported by beams.

In the beam 7 the maximum deflection is 21 mm (attachment) in the same point the maximum delfexion of the slab is 75 mm (attachment)

How is it possible if the slab is supported by the beam?

How I fix the problem ?

thank you

Thanks Ahmed, but I ask for the slab deflexion in required reinforcement module (75 mm) it’s biggest than support steel beam, please see the attachments in my first post.

I think this is not possible have more deflexion in the same point in slab than the support beam

such case you need to increase moment of inertia of beam ( more rigidity - more bending as well as more deflection)

oops sorry    i mean concrete beam u are using steel beam so

may be this helps

No, is not possible element (slab) go under his support (beam)

Support technique what is wrong in my model?

In attachment you can find a more developed model, now I have only one slab, the supports beams are 100 mm under, the slab and supports beams are connected every mesh joint by rigid links and de result is the same.

“in de module concrete required reinforcement, the deflexion of the slab in service load state is more than the support beam”

What is wron in my model?

thanks

We waiting for an answer of support team, my apologies for the pressure but this job it’s urgent.

Thanks

On stage of RC design the slab \ panel is separated from model so these results are different \ not comparable
To get similar \ more accurate RC results first you have to run required reinf calculations for slab then run Verification With Stiffeness Update.
