seismic zero

Curiously seems that nobody nobody is interested to know if the definition of the base of a building means that only from that quota the seismic forces act as many software do. (see Box foundation)
I did some tests and seems that the base of the bilding does not affect the results.
The ability to define the seismic zero in some cases it is useful and important.
No one ever had this need?
thanks

Yep, wondered about that, never got my hands to actually do any tests or ask any questions.

Other FEA software I use have options to define the ground zero.

Do you have any relevant models to test? If so, please upload and we'll discuss.

Hi,
something went wrong with the previous post.
I attach a simple model. If the calculation is made with base 0 m robot calculates the forces of the first floor. If the calculation is made with base 6 m robot does not calculate the forces for the first level.
