I need some help because I haven't found anything on the internet that resembles what's happening to me. This is my first time using this software, but the program won't let me create anything at all!!!! I can't create bars. I put the beginning point and then when I clik the end and nothing happens!! It doesn't create the bar, but there's no error. Also, I was only able to create one column, then it didn't let me create anything else. I tried on 2D frame, on building analysis and... well, nothing!!! I'm trying reinstalling, but any ideas on the topic would be super helpful!!!!

Try to attach a movie that shows what is happening while you start using Robot so that we have a better understanding of a situation.
Try to reduce display acceleration slider.
Set it as shown in the picture.
I think I just understood what's happening. Everything I create (I tried creating objets like arcs and circles), it doesn't matter where I click it's like I'm only doing it on one point, which is 0,0... Hmmm, this is hard to explain... The beginning and ending point of everything is 0,0!! It's doesn't matter if I specify something completely different. I create a node, it goes to 0,0. I create a column, it goes to 0,0. I create a bar, the beginning and end point is 0,0. That;s why I can't create anyhting...
Any ideas on how to fix this?????????
Here, download Jing. It's free software for screen recording:

Try to record what you've been doing and share the video.
Try to delete contents of CfgUsr folder.
Turn Robot off before that.
CfgUsr folder location:
C:\Users\"yourUserName"\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis 2014\CfgUsr
Yes. He means to close the Robot first before you delete those files. [Copy those files as backup for later reference.]
Here is the screenshot of the contents of that folder. My Robot is working fine, so check with your folder.
I dont know what these files contains except that some of them has color and font information for the Robot. I am curious to know though.
Have you tried to manually enter Beginning and End coordinates?
Enter coordinates and click "Add".
For example:
5 ; 3
15 ; 4
Add
And please, tell us your computer hardware configuration.
Is that Windows 8 you're using?
Well, it didn't work... 😞 Robot's driving me crazy...
1. Geometry > Structure Type > select a shell model (silo)
2. Geometry > Structure type > select the model type you want to work with (2D frame / 3D frame)

My computer has Windows Home 7, 64-bit. It's a Toshiba Satellite if that helps
Yes, I also tried that and didn't work. Creating nodes doesn't help either because it only creates one node in 0,0, again...
