My approach is to model a rectangular beam ('web') with no offset but with artificially increased moment of inertia (see theattached picture - IY of rectangular beam multiplied by ratio of IY of T shape beam / IY of rectangular beam). This approach causes'increase' of bending in the beam (T shape beam effect) while no axial forcse in the beam being generated.
Plz find the attached file. I applied this approach, but ARSA gave warnings & errors. Plz any guide.
Hi
I sent my file using WeTransfer. I made design for ribbed slab, girders, columns. I appreciate your notifications.
Hi Mustafa
I think the error message is caused by
1.- the dimensions of your beams are defined as 0.3x0.65 millimeters
2.- you don't have make any load combination in order to design in ULS or SLS

Hi Artur
I posted the rtd file via WeTransfer & YouSendIt to this email adress:
mailer@lithium.com.
Plz notify me if this is delivered and notify me for any suggestions.
No,
using any of these services you have to send it to yourself (your e-mail address) and then copy and paste to post only the link to file you got from the service.
Hi
Plz see the lonk below:
It's the modelling of ribbed slabs based on approach of Artur. Is it O.K?
Why are all columns give the same reinforcement or I'm wrong?
Hi
Thanx Rafal
So is the cross section of the columns is adequate.
Another question:
When I export the drawings of beams to dxf, instead of displaying diameter it desplays (Latini:D8).
How can I solve this?
Plz find the attached file.

Open dxf file in Notepad, replace ALL
{LATIN1:D8} by %%c
Save file, load to acad
Hi Rafal
Thanx. This is working, but why AutocadAdditionalFonts doesn't work?
Thanx. This is working, but why AutocadAdditionalFonts doesn't work?
It was for ASD fi font. I thought it was the same font in Robot.
Hi In Arsa 2009 The diameter was represented as #. There was no problems in exporting it to Dxf.
Hi
I hope too. Till now I don't know how to export a panel design to dxf with the panel thickness shown and the reinforcement also shown on cross section of panel.
another problem. In beams definition I labelled my beams with B-1, B-2 etc. In the design drawing the table title will be Beam221, Beam222 instead of B-1, B-2.
How this is solved?

Not possible.
You can create such view in ASD

I do not get. This is what I see:

How can I use ASD? I'm not familiar with that.
