My approach is to model a rectangular beam ('web') with no offset but with artificially increased moment of inertia (see theattached picture - IY of rectangular beam multiplied by ratio of IY of T shape beam / IY of rectangular beam). This approach causes'increase' of bending in the beam (T shape beam effect) while no axial forcse in the beam being generated.
Plz find the attached file. I applied this approach, but ARSA gave warnings & errors. Plz any guide.
Hi Rafal
I asked whether ARSA can export a panel design to dxf with the panel thickness shown and the reinforcement shown on cross section of panel.
You posted:
Not possible.
You can create such view in ASD
I wonder if you can help me because I can't use ASD & the matter is very necessary.
With best regards
Unfortunately to do that you have to draw reinforcement in ASD
Example : http://screencast.com/t/TgqoBkrhd
or import crosses (required reinforcement) and draw reinforcement in ASD

Hi
Thanx Rafal. Is it impossible for ARSA to have a section cut through panel to show reinforcement? ARSA can display the cross section of footings with the reinforcement. I hope ARSA can do it for panels.
Hi Rafal

Can ASD import required reinforcement from robot and draw reinforcement for these requirements the same way as robot design module is doing?
Can ASD import required reinforcement for beams, columns from robot? How?

Yes.
Can ASD import required reinforcement for beams, columns from robot? How?
No. Real reinforcement is imported to ASD.
Hi Rafal
Yes if you install ASD enablers.
You can find them on our www.
What are ASD enablers?
How can I find them on www?
Hi Rafal
Thnk you very very much. I had downloaded the enabler and installed it. Forgive me, if you could show me how this is used to edit ASD drawings in autocad.
Hi
1 -How can one import required reinforcement area for beams, columns from Robot to Autocad structural detailing (ASD)?
2- How can one adjoin elements (columns, beams, slabs) in Autocad structural detailing (ASD)?
