REQUIRED REINFORCEMENT

I am a little bit confused at to what is happening with calculating required ties for columns. If you look at the image, I have set my tie diameters to T10 with 2 legs in the first table, and T20 with 6 legs in the second table, however, the required spacing remained 12.6 cm for first bar in both cases and 32.6 cm for the second bar in both cases as well. I even checked the applied shear forces and they are almost the same needless to say almost negligible when it comes to a 300 by 700 column with an f'c of 40 MPa. I even changed the f'c to 10 MPa but the only thing that changed was the longintudinal reinforcement. Any ideas.

It seems RC column section 70x30 is not the same for design as 30x70. Developers will check the code.

So if RC Column section is considered as bxh then b must be smaller than h (b<h).

PLease use 30x70 and rotate it by gamma angle.
