Reinforced Concrete Podium and Separate Structures

Good morning,

I have tried to model an RC structure up to first floor level. Above this level shall be a lightweight steel frame with columns supported on the slab and walls. I have input the columns, However RSA returns 'separate structure ' warning.

Is there a modelling method I could incorporate to remove warning?

Thanks

Remesh all panels.
Columns are not connected to slabs meshes

I have done a few hand checks for the concrete self weight, however the two storey RC wall panel refs 13 and 61 do not appear to be decomposing self weight reactions to support and are lighter than expected.

If you could advise, that'd be great!

Cheers

in the file that you sent.

Click on geometry/stories/filter story . All "inactive" (light blue unselectable bars and panels) shall appear and become "active". Remesh ALL the panels . Run the model.

Rafacascudo,

Thanks! Worked perfectly, however the base reactions to Panel 13 are still a lot lighter than expected?

Cheers
