RC Slab design - reduction of forces above columns

Dear users,

I´m performing the design of a RC Slab using the menu: Design - Provided Reinforcement of RC Elements.

I need to correctly estimate the reinforcement area for negative moments above several columns. However in this design option Robot doesn´t provide the option to reduce the forces above columns. As consequence the negative moments are very high and a huge ammount of reinforcement should be provided.

Does anyone knows how to activate the reduction of forces inside the module of Provided Reinforcement of RC Elements?

In the module of Required Reinforcement this option is available and efficient (see atached file).

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

DRR

The Provided Reinforcement for shells is based on the results of Required Reinforcement, so you no need this option because the reduction already done.
