I'm sorry but I'm not sure what exactly you need. Perhaps you can try to model the pile cap as a panel and either support is with elastic nodal supports or model piles as bar elements with either elastic soil or with number of elastic supports created in nodes along bars.

Hi all.

I know there are many ways  KX, KY, KZ (kN/m) .You can share how to calculate the coefficient of that for me,????? thank All.

Hi

You must have the soil data in order to calculate the kx,ky and kz values

1 you can have the ks subgrade modulus from your soil data

or

2 if you think about the posible reactions involved :

the (horizontal) kx and ky are the passive soil values

To be conservative try to use Ko values for a first approach

because the Kp values need more displacements in order to be effective

The Kz values can be assigned to the internal pile nodes (see the file send by Artur)

those values varies with depth and for each soil layer

Kz=Ka*Sz*tan(j)*m

Sz = gamma soil*h

j= internal friction angle

m=2*pi*r*tl

tl=layer thicknes

(sorry no symbol font avalilable)

assigning a unique Kz value for all the nodes the reactions can you mislead to interpret the results

and the Rz reaction at the tip of the pile must be also wrong.

Thank you for taking the time to answer me.
Can you tell me the formula name "KZ = Ka * Sz * tan (j) * m."
Can you tell me more about KX, Ky.

can you tell me any books about KX, KY, KZ best?
Thank again

you will find more about this topic searching

Laumans (1977) about ks

Schiel (1960)

or Grundbau - Taschenbuch ISBN 3-433-01412-4

All in german

look this page Kapitel 2, it is very interesting how they solve
