Offsets in Robot

Offsets have to be replaced with another option in which rigid links will be automatically defined in proper locations, because the way that they are used right now in Robot is not convenient at all and it is causes many simulation problems... Especially in RC structures, where it is immediate to consider non "centerlined" connections between members, Robot has to be improved about this issue.

Well it's really a confusing decision of development team to remove the well implemented and fully functional offset feature (which is calculated and transferred from Revit model). Using rigid links to connect non centered elements such as R/C beams and columns eventually results in creation of extra mesh in the close vicinity of the connection. Those mesh elements have to be very small in size and odd in shape that the results deviate from the proper meshed model. I hope “use drawing model offsets as analytical” option is implemented back again to Revit-Robot couple.
