Node Loads on Cladding Elements

Hi All,

I have been using cladding elements to generate some loads for a 2 way slab on steel. The problem I am facing is that the I can not add point loads.

From the Robot help file, it says that point loads can be applied to the cladding. So what I have done is add nodes in the location of the point loads and applied node loads.

The issue this causes is, since cladding do not generate an FEA mesh, all of these nodes are isolated and not actually connected to anything, so now I have the problem of these loads not being analysed as part of the structure. From the screenshot below, you can see that the loads are applied onto nodes defined in the cladding, and loads have been applied, yet there is no bending moment in the beams.

I might be doing this incorrectly, but how does one apply point loads onto cladding if not like this? Please Help, Thanks.

Never Mind, figured it out.

It's the "Force in Point" Option in Node Loads:
