Moment diagram shape

Hey,

 

Does anyone knows why i am getting such moment diagram shape for bar 18 and 19

Thanks Rafal ,

 

But bars 1 and 2 should have a max moment equal to bar 17 which is not the case in my frame, can you help me to know why?

Because you specified a deck slab -> ok for loading BUT your deck is acting with the beams as one piece -> some loads are supported by the beams and some by the pannel.

Actually as your deck is quite stiff compared to the beams, the deck is like a central support at the FEM node (due to your mesh, only one node at the center of the beam) that's why you see this kind of moment.

 

Two ways to avoid this (among others) :

 refine the mesh but your pannel will stil act with the beams

use claddind

 

see your model attached.

you can use it from Geometry 

 

 its used for loud distribution for one way slab and 2 way slab
