Modelling walls with nonlinear struts

Hi all,

I am interested if you have experience in modelling walls (i.e. masonry shear wall) with diagonal struts that have nonlinear material behaviour. Particularly, I would like to know if somebody has successfully modelled masonry building (without vertical RC bar elements) with diagonal nonlinear struts?
