Model with Tension Bars - Running time

Hello,

Please see this file:

http://we.tl/kNt1uUOIRv

In this case i have to maintain designing at global model, otherwise i was studying simplified models.

There you can view that bracing system is defined with truss bars + tension only...when running this model it really takes a lot to do it and this is being a huge problem for me.

Can you take a look?

Thanks in advance,

RR

Hint: if you do not need simple cases results just set these cases as auxiliary and calculate only combinations.

Good Morning Rafal,

Nice hint! I didn't knew that possibility. 🙂 kudo4u

If the structure remains symmetric, i will also reduce the number of cases wind to half.

Any other tips/hints?

Ty,

RR

Maybe faster with multithreaded solver

Is there any way to see final calculation time?

Because that window that opens when i run my model, closes before i can see final calculation time.
