Maps of Loads

Maps of Loads

Sometimes for complicated models you have to check loads accuratelly.

Unfortunately, Robot Structural Analisys doesn't provide tools to verify load values on different panels/bars/nodes.

I think, it can be good idea to add tool which makes "Maps of Loads" for elements of the model.

In my opionion, one of the best realization of such tool in Ukranian software Lira-SAPR (link: http://www.liraland.ru/).

The screenshots of this feature is shown below.

Most of the analysis software provides this feature (showing area loads as maps) I believe it would be step ahead for Robot to implement this feature because as the op stated, checking load values in plan view and in complex views would be much more simplified as opposed to trying to understand 3d loads. Also color coding of load values and a legend would help very much to identify different loads.

In my opinion Robot team have to consider these two ideas as one and sum up Votes.

Surface load presentation
‎04-14-2015 02:35 PM |

When we have complicated model the presentation of the surfaces load become so bad and hard to present it in a nice way in the Robot.

Therefore I hope this issue could be present in the New version of RSA as maps (similar to the pressure of wind load )that will be easy to present.

Thanks and Best Regards.
