Local coordinate system

Hi,....

Is it possible to draw something in a user defined local coordinate system (e.g... panels, beams etc)?

....just want  to draw some purlins of a complicated roof!

Regards!

So,.I can only work/draw in a global coordinate system!?

I tried "Local Working Plane" before opening this thread, but couldn't define any structure axis, etc.

Yes, coordinates are in global system.

Structural axes must be defined in global system.

Hi

I am having problems getting this feature to work correctly. I have read the following:

http://docs.autodesk.com/RSA/2013/ENU/index.html

Could someone please upload a jing video or some screen captures to show how it is done?

Regards

Peder
