I am applying loads to a new building on Autodesk Revit for when I later perform an analysis in Robot. I have areas of the slab with balconies for which I need to apply an addition live load to. Do I just add another area load over the top with a magnitude of the difference in resultant load?

I think you have several options:

1. Define additional load (having already some load defined for this part of the model)

2. Define two separate loads with different values and apply one to balconies and the other to the other part of the model

3. Create a new live load case and define the 'missing' part of live load on balconies and then create a combination of both live load cases.
