Load Takedown

I am using Robot to perform a load takedown and comparing it to a simple load takedown performed by hand based on the area of floor supported by each column/wall. I have noticed that Robot produces considerably different results. How does Robot calculate the load down the the supports? I guess that Robot takes relative stiffness of columns and walls into account with this calculation.

Thanks

Jon

Load Takedown in Robot? Are you sure?

Surely the reactions produced at the supports after an analysis is perfomed should be similar to the reactions created by doing a load takedown by hand?
