Load safety factors and combinations (Member calculation)

Hi,

Please help to fix this kind of problem:

In the Member calculation (column) mode i set needed settings for load cases factors.

But when i start applying those loads cases on the column - it shows different factors.

Please see attached pictures.

For example i need to set COMB DLx1.265, enstead of that Robot does DLx1.35. o_O

Thanks,

Victor

Which code have you set for RC design ?

The RC codes are linked with regulation files.

In this case it can be like that:

SFS.jpg

In case of importing such element from FEM model to RC module we recommend to generate manual combinations from code combinations in model and while importing to select Manual Combinations.

Hello,

-Finnish annex EC-2.

-Its linked alright, but im interested in safety factors which are stored under CC2 in screen pictures.

-Im not importing column from FEM model. I started it on Member design mode from the start.

Like i said, i need to modify CC3 (structure class) safety factors but in calculations its still forcing into CC2 factors for dead load- 1.35

Thanks!

Victor

As I said this code is linked with CC2 regulation file.

Modify CC2 file.

That was the problem.

I modified CC2 file but it still was forcing to the wrong factor.

Apparantly it was some sort of bag on my work station coz when i tried to modify it on home laptop -it worked just fine.

Thanks for quick replies!

Check \ modify this file:

"c:\Users\user_login\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis 2012\CfgUsr\EC-SFS-C2.RGL"

or similar path.

If this file does not exist copy it there.
